How to Build a Daily Nervous System Regulation Practice

A sustainable practice should fit your life rather than become another demand. Whether your days begin in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, Bali or Thailand, consistency can come from linking a small practice to something you already do.

Choose anchors, not perfect routines

An anchor is an existing moment: waking up, opening your laptop, eating lunch or ending work. Attach a practice of one to five minutes to one anchor before adding more.

A missed day is information, not failure. Make the practice smaller or move it to a more reliable point in your schedule.

A simple morning, workday and evening rhythm

Choose one or use all three only if they remain supportive.

  1. 1Morning: orient to daylight and notice five natural breaths.
  2. 2Workday: feel your feet before opening an important message or meeting.
  3. 3Evening: release the jaw and lengthen two comfortable exhales.
  4. 4Weekly: reflect on what helped and what felt demanding.
  5. 5Monthly: seek guided support if you want to deepen safely.

Adapt across cultures and time zones

Online access can support continuity during travel and for people far from local services. Sanando Juntos works internationally without claiming physical centres in each location.

Somatic Breathwork supports individual practice; Corporate Wellness helps distributed teams create shared regulation habits within the workday.
